Hotel Emma is an elegant hotel that stands in the 1894 former Pearl Brewery of the popular Pearl district. It is a 15-minute walk from Brackenridge Park and golf course and a 10-minute drive from McNay Art Museum. In the early nineteenth century Hotel Emma became the top brewery in Texas. The structures of the hotel are still radiating and its eclectic features are intact.
They used the same interior designer as New York’s High Line Hotel so the Hotel Emma is more urban than rural. It has brick, steel and soft textiles, cool cement and tile, high ceilings and low lighting. The big machinery and the old brewery’s looks portray the gothic values of the town.
The furniture is built from hardwoods covered in a saddle-smooth leather. The guest rooms are uniquely styled, incredibly comfortable and fashioned with amenities like flat HD 48-inch flat-screen TVs, beds with Frette linens and luxury bathrobes. All the rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi (though it’s slow) that the guests can enjoy their stay with.
There is a rooftop pool, a fitness center, a 3700-volume library and a gift shop. The guests can also enjoy local gourmet meals and they have tons of local beers that you can relish in. Hotel Emma also has a picnic area, cleaning/laundry service, conference space, poolside bar, childcare service and a lovely garden area.
